Room was getting ready to launch their first drop. Managing a digital shop as well as a in person launch event coming up and a lot to pull together and no clear to do list.
Pages to build, tickets to sell, emails to send, and not much time to work out how it all fit.
They wanted to prioritise community building, hype and special offers into their launch. In a way that was authentic and didn't put them out of pocket.

First, I mapped out the pages their website needed for launch and designed a flow for email and Facebook community members to help build their community online. Now they had a clear to-do list.
Second, I suggested avoiding discounts early on, because we didn't want to position the brand as a discount store at launch. Instead, we went with an early access model to give early supporters something exclusive.
Third, to keep the tech stack light, I suggested setting up tickets as Shopify products, so everything ran through their existing store without another platform to manage.
They also got to hear my rambles of ideas on ways to build a community around the brand, like love notes to hand out to buyers. Something small and personal for people to take home, tying back to the brand's focus on inclusivity and community.

Room launched with a handful of my recommendations, making their launch feel personal and considered. Early supporters got first access to buy, so they felt part of something from day one. Online fans got to see how pieces fit on different body types, and event attendees took home a love note.
The bigger win was having a clear plan to pick from. Room chose what suited them for launch day, and the rest is ready for when they want to grow.
